Description
Our client, a Fortune
100 company, located in the Washington DC/ Herndon, VA (shuttle
bus between the two locations) area is seeking Sr. level
WebLogic Application Server / iPlanet Web Server Administrators.
Position is with the Internet Engineering Group. Employee
will be exposed to all the latest technologies relating
to Weblogic, UNIX, WebServers, Networks, and applications
development.

Requirements
Internet Engineering Group,
WebLogic Application Server / UNIX SA / iPlanet Web Server
- Support
complex mission critical J2EE applications on WebLogic 6.x
versions on Solaris 8 servers
- Troubleshoot,
maintain, upgrade, & monitor 200+ iPlanet servers and
Veritas Cluster Servers
- Manage
applications which interface with relational databases
- BS
degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer
Systems Engineering

systems administration & installation
- Must
have BEA Certificate in WebLogic Server & be Sun Certified
Solaris Administrator
- Minimum
two years experience required in job offered or as Systems
Engineer, serving as engineering team leader & managing
high-end data centers with 50+ servers, including experience
with iPlanet servers, Solaris servers, Veritas Cluster Servers,
WebLogic and J2EE
- Locations:
Washington, DC, Reston, VA, Herndon, VA, etc. (job sites
in No. VA/DC metro area vary, depending on assignment)
